China triggers alarm on melting glaciers
Report warns of worse droughts, sandstorms as plateau warms up


This article from MSNBC.com looks at global warming from an Asian viewpoint. Chinese scientists have studied 40 years of data and concluded that "Glaciers covering China’s Qinghai-Tibet plateau are shrinking by 7 percent a year due to global warming."

We had really bad yell0w dust storms this year in Seoul (the toxic dust blows in from China), and it looks like there will only be more of it.
