This weekend Charissa and I went to the Sustainable Living Fair in Ft. Collins. There were lots of booths with an over abundance of projects, products and promotions--sustainable construction companies, alternative energy developers, green publishers, organic farmers, fair trade groups etc. What fun.
We heard about the food co-op in town and headed there next. Now we're members. Next year we plan to join a local organic farm that sells shares of food (CSA). There are a couple of them in the area.
A friend and I were talking about this stuff, and he shared how overwhelming it can be to try to live holistically, fairly, non-toxic(ly). I have felt the same at times, so I'm going to work out a "simple" plan for transmogrifying from a modern life to an enlightened life--as much to clarify my own thinking and living as to aid others on the path of transformation. I'm new to this you know!
