So I had been reading about the peak oil hypothesis with its accompanying doomsday plot.

But then I was comforted by estimates by the Cambridge Energy Research Associates. Yeah, they say we have plenty of oil, so we don't neet to be afraid. We have oil for another 122 years at current consumption rates! (World oil supply still plentiful, study shows, MSNBC.com, 14 Nov 2006)
Yes, our way of life can last 122 more years! Why change anything now? There's nothing wrong with this lifestyle of consumption if we've got 122 more years. I won't even be alive then! Sweet.

are a lot of crazy things happening in the states? i talked to dennis last night. he says that wild things are happening. i never hear about anything. he told me not to be paranoid. i think he was reassuring himself though.
There are so many, many fun things happening. I'm not sure what he meant specifically. My scent? That's pretty crazy.
