Erin's Collective Wisdom

Once in a while Erin writes quotes on my office white board. Here are her first ten:

  1. “War doesn’t determine who is right, only who is left.”—Bertrand Russell
  2. “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, then the world will know peace.” –Jimi Hendrix
  3. “What good fortune for governments that the people don’t think.” –Hitler
  4. “Fear sometimes carries a person further than courage, but not in the same direction.”
  5. “There never was a good war or a bad peace.”—Benjamin Franklin
  6. “When we tug on a single thing in nature we find it attached to everything else.”—John Muir
  7. “Heaven is both above our heads and below our feet.”—Henry David Thoreau
  8. “If you destroy the foundation of this country to defend it, then what are you defending?”
  9. “The goal of life is to live in agreement with nature.” —Zeno
  10. “If you choose the lesser of two evils, you are still choosing evil.” –Ralph Nader
