We were watching the weather on Channel 7 last night to see the aftermath of the storm that pounded Colorado with rain, hail and lightning. This is what we heard:
Woman at home: "We all heard a big boom. The little boy came out of the bathroom. And we all smelled it. And then we ran out of the house."
Newsperson: "We believe that all of the family members reached safety."
Charissa says there was more hilarity, but I had completely lost it and couldn't hear a word they were saying.
The big boom was actually lightning hitting the house, and the smell was fire. But that line about the boy and the bathroom just changed everything. We couldn't breathe!

That's very funny.
...talk about a little extra information completely changing the entire quote.
