Roll-over Accident

All we could see over the cement barrier were four tires in the air and some wafting smoke. We dialed 911 as we turned around in the next block and came back to the overturned Jeep. No bodies were in the Jeep, so we started looking around in the bushes. I was trying to remember my First Aid and CPR training from the Red Cross. "What would Adam do?" We were freaked. Seriously.

We found a hat, a cell phone, some strewn camping gear. No body. "This person is going to be messed up!"

The police, firefighters and medics arrived, but we couldn't help much since we hadn't seen it happen, and we hadn't yet found a body.

We never found the body. It turns out the person had run from the scene. "He must be so high."
That was late Friday night. We read a summary in the Sunday Reporter-Herald.

by the way jeff, your next book has to be "First Pass Under Heaven" by Nathan Gray. It's a story about him hiking the full length of the Great Wall! really awesome story so far! I think you'll like it.
