We have finally worn hanboks (just in case you were wondering). This weekend my Sabbath afternoon teen group had a one-year anniversary party for Charissa and me. I've had a really good year hanging out with the group. They've heard a lot of my stories, and I've told them a lot of my stories.
They dressed us up in the hanboks, traditional Korean attire, and the teens entertained us with a congratulatory home movie, a group song, a special piano piece, a huge plate of dukk and roses, and a trip to Pizza Hut (another ancient tradition).
It was cool. Very special.
We took several of our photo albums from the year. It's hard to pack light when you have a photography addiction.
