Nobody Knows

I think the most depressing movie I’ve ever seen is Nobody Knows, which is based on the true story of a mother abandoning her children for a new life. I didn’t cry. It isn’t the saddest movie. It is however, an emotional vampire slowly sucking the light out of your sun. I woke up the next morning thinking, “Where are the kids? I need to take care of the kids.”

The next Sabbath I talked about it in conjunction with Isaiah 49:15, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!"
